Our mission is to help low-income and homeless families and individuals gain
self-sufficiency by providing affordable housing, family support services, job
readiness training and economic development opportunities

Employment and Economic Development Programs
Human Solutions’ Employment Programs help participants learn job skills, connect with employers and secure permanent employment with livable wage jobs.

Homelessness Services
Human Solutions’ Daybreak Shelter Network, Transitional Housing, HomelessnessAssistance and Permanent Housing programs help homeless families to have a place they can call home—and work to get out of poverty.

Safety Net Services
Human Solutions offers emergency rent assistance, energy assistance and education to families who are experiencing poverty and/or who are at risk of being homeless. This support is essential to helping families maintain a safe and stable home environment for their children.

Housing
Human Solutions offers 539 units of affordable housing to low-income and homeless families in Mid and East Multnomah County, through 14 different housing sites. Our commitment to quality housing, environmentally friendly buildings, and family-centered activities makes our housing programs a wonderful place to be for families who are working their way out of
poverty.
