CIC collaborated with the Positive Community Project, a group of people living with HIV who organized themselves to reach into and advocate for highly 'at risk' communities in Metro Portland to facilitate access to HIV services. This multi-racial, multi-cultural, multilingual group was successful in dramaticvally increasing the use of health and social services in targetted communities including injection drug users and sex industry workers.
